Wow, Bristol. Is everyone still recovering from **Simple Things Festival**? What a weekend! The whole city was electric, and it felt like a proper celebration of everything that makes our scene so special. Just when we thought we could catch our breath, the city's producers and bands have unleashed another absolutely massive week of new music. This week is all about cross-scene collaborations, from D&B meeting hip-hop to indie-pop and, most importantly, some fantastic music for a great local cause. Let's get into it.
Bandcamp Picks 🎶
Mitsubio – "Don't Say Anything"
Mitsubio’s “Don’t Say Anything” is a moody, minimalist release that plays with space, tension and restraint. Sparse yet evocative, it suggests emotion held back, unspoken and charged. A subtle pause in the week’s rush.
Will Clarke – "Call My Name"
Will Clarke’s “Call My Name” marks a return to vocal-driven house, pairing his production finesse with emotive lyricism. The tune glides between club readiness and radio-friendly appeal, with that Bristol pedigree shining through.

Visionobi, R3IDY & Teej – "Enamour"
“Enamour” unites Bristol’s Visionobi with production duo R3IDY & Teej in a groove-laden joint that hovers between D&B and soulful hip-hop. With rich bass textures and lyrical flow, it pulls Bristol’s rap-meets-bass culture into sharp focus.
Couples Holiday – "Shelf Life"
With “Shelf Life”, Couples Holiday deliver a lush, introspective indie-pop single that slows the pace. Soft instrumentation, emotional vocal delivery and a sense of pause mark this as a standout for late-night listening. A quieter gem in a week of bass-heavy releases.
Mista Congo & Kemikali – "Kissi Dugu"

The highlight of last weekend, and maybe the month! **Simple Things Festival** took over the city and was a massive success. From the main stages to the weird little corners, the vibe was unbeatable. Huge congrats to the team. We're already hyped for next year!

Looking for plans *tonight*? The O2 Academy is hosting **The Upgrade Experiment**. This is set to be a massive night of D&B, celebrating one of the scene's most exciting names. A perfect way to follow up the festival madness!
